Beachfront in Málaga is not one promenade but several distinct ones. La Malagueta is the city beach, a short walk from the cathedral and the port, urban and lively and priced accordingly. East along the seafront, Pedregalejo and El Palo keep the chiringuitos and the old fishing-quarter feel, with frontline flats that sit a notch more residential and a notch better value. The frontline premium over a flat two streets back is real here, but so is the trade-off in noise and salt, and for many city buyers a second-line apartment with a sea glimpse is the more honest answer. We will help you work out which.
